Schneider Creations partnered with Fred Fehrmann from National Fiber Technology participating in the
2007 World Taxidermy Championships held in Reno, Nevada, in April 2007. Our team took Third
Place in the world in the Collective Artists Division for our reproduction of a Sabertooth Tiger!

John Schneider sculpted and cast the hard and soft tissues (teeth, claws, tongue, nose, ears) then created
the Sabertooth using faux fur provided by National Fiber Technology. This was our first ever entry into the world of taxidermy,
and we are pleased to have placed Third in the world for our division. We have affectionately named our Sabertooth "Sabra"
and we have the bust of a baby Sabertooth that we have named "Roary."
Our very first trade show exhibit was at the Sales, Networking, and Leadership Conference
and Expo presented by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce on May 16, 2006 - DeVos
Place, Grand Rapids, Michigan!
We displayed our completed 12-ft. tall Asian hot tub surround and some of our one-of-a-kind
art pieces! We had a fun time and met some great people. Jennifer Ederer and Kelly
Barz from Modern Day Floral had a booth at the expo and they were so excited about our hot
tub surround that they made two exotic floral arrangements for us as seen in the photos. Their booth was built
around a beautiful fountain with surrounding columns and flowers of all kinds. They recently opened a storefront in downtown Grand
Rapids at 125 Ottawa Ave, Suite 170 (next to Preusser Jewelers), so be sure to visit them if you like creative floral
